CR Lemons enjoys reading crime fiction and erotic romance, so her goal from the outset was to write a novel with a perfect balance of both genres portraying a strong experienced female as the main character. She has such an active imagination and truly enjoys transcribing it into words. As she writes, the people, places and things come to life and she completely loses herself. Writing is her meditation and she hopes you enjoy reading her books as much as she enjoyed writing them.
After receiving a degree in paralegal studies, C. R. Lemons served as a paralegal for many years until deciding on a career change of currently managing her award-winning, family-owned business.
As a child, she would sneak her mom’s romance novels and lose herself in them. She always had an active imagination and dreamed of sharing it through writing. This hope finally came true with her first novel Getting Him Off Quickly and continues with her second novel Getting Him Off Secretly.
C R Lemons is also a Featured Author in the Upcoming Facebook Event — Damn, That’s Hot Erotica 3. Look for her and 27 other Erotica Writers at the Biggest Celebration of Love, Lust, and Hot Sex from October 6th to the 12th.

So, CR…. What’s Your Next Release or WIP?
The third book of my Getting Him Off Series… Getting Him Off Completely.
Which Novel Do You Consider Your Masterpiece?
Getting Him Off Secretly because it caused me to think outside the box and introduce a fantastical level mixed in with reality. As a writer, to be able to lead the reader into a forbidden world of very powerful and rich men that most could only imagine was extremely fun and rewarding for me. I learned so much from my first novel Getting Him Off Quickly and my writing craft was improved exponentially in my second novel Getting Him Off Secretly.
What Kind of Sex Scene is the Hardest for You to Write?
Normally when the sex is happening in an unusual place like a hospital bed, stairwell, even an elevator, etc. Since most of my scenes are not simply ‘bend over and stick it in’ (although I do have those as well), they have to be as realistic as possible and come across that way in writing for the reader. At times, I feel like I can relate to a porn director.
Wine, Liquor, or Beer – Why and Which Brands?
All… It depends on what I am in the mood for and what I may be eating. I have no brand loyalty, well, maybe Shiner beer.
What’s The Hardest Thing For You While Writing?
Wrapping up the story. I get to a point and think I need to start wrapping it up. It can be a challenge at times.
Everybody Cheats – Yes or No – Why?
I would never say everyone cheats. Most people probably have at some point in their lives or have considered cheating. I believe some people would just never consider it or the situation doesn’t present itself to make it possible.
You Have One Hour For Sex. In What Increments Do You Split the 60 Minutes Into Foreplay, Actual Sex, and Post-Coital Bonding/Afterglow?
15 Minutes – Foreplay / 25 Minutes – Actual Sex / 5 Minutes – Post-Coital Bonding / 15 Minutes – Actual Sex
How Old Were You When You Saw Your First Example of Porn – Tell Us?
I believe I was twelve. I was walking to a friend’s house, saw a magazine in the middle of the road, picked it up, and was mesmerized.
Thanks for your honest and provocative answers to my queries, CR. Now, Let’s Take a Look At Her Two Published Novels.
BLURB — Paralegal Daisy Sinclair works for a well-known successful criminal defense attorney in downtown Fort Worth. She works hard and plays even harder, but has a code to never mix business with pleasure. This code is tested when her boss hires Warren Cole as a criminal investigator to partner with her in a case defending a prominent figure against a double murder charge.
Investigator Cole is a gorgeous six foot five former homicide detective and Navy SEAL with piercing emerald green eyes, unkempt jet black hair, caramel tan complexion and rock hard body. When Daisy catches herself imagining him handcuffed to her bed while investigating the crime scene, she soon realizes mixing business with pleasure maybe unavoidable.
Daisy is a strong-willed free spirit who plays by her own rules and Warren is a cocky alpha male who is accustomed to going by procedure. This combination makes for an interesting and entertaining investigative team. As they set out to prove their client’s innocence, they find themselves on a suspenseful winding journey of the many suspects and motives to discover things may not be what they seem, or are they?
BLURB — Paralegal extraordinaire Daisy Sinclair goes undercover with the ever-so-sexy criminal investigator Warren Cole, her partner in crime investigation and in love. Their relationship couldn’t seem more perfect until their firm is hired by the Honorable Elijah “Eli” Whitfield to solve the disappearance and subsequent murder of his acquaintance. He is not just any Judge, he is Daisy’s former boss with chestnut brown hair, deep blue eyes, a smile that a politician would kill for and is by far the sexiest one presiding in Texas. There is a history between these two that lingers and comes to fruition when Daisy’s undercover assignment takes her deep into a secret world of the most powerful men in Fort Worth and working intimately close with the Judge. Daisy finds herself at a crossroads between her committed relationship with her boyfriend and resisting a hot steamy affair with her former boss all while trying to catch a murderer.
Eli seems to want to renew feelings for Daisy but her heart belong to her PI partner Warren.
There are a number of set up circumstances by Eli and misunderstandings for all. There is a lot of action with the investigation and plenty of romance. There are also good secondary characters.
